What we collect, what we do not, and who can see it.
What we collect
Four kinds of record. Each one has a job.
Account
Your email address, the public keys of any passkeys you add, and the members of your workspace.
Billing
Payments run through Stripe. We keep the card brand, the last four digits, the expiry date and your receipts. Stripe holds the card number.
Usage record
For every request: time, model, region, token counts, key id and cost. This is what the usage page shows and what you are billed on.
Request logs
Request id, status code, latency and error code, kept for 30 days for support and debugging.
What we do not collect
Prompts and outputs. They stay in memory for the session, at most 30 minutes after the last request on a key, and are never written to disk.
Nothing you send is used to train any model, ours or a provider's.
No third-party analytics run on the API. The website sets no analytics cookies.
Who can see it
- You, and the members of your workspace.
- Stripe, for payments.
- Named Safe AI Labs staff, for support. Every access is recorded.
- No one else, unless the law requires it. In that case the usage record is all there is to give, because nothing else exists.
Your rights
Export or delete your account from Settings. Deleting an account removes the account, billing and request logs. The usage record stays with its receipts for as long as tax law requires.
